Story Bird is a a free online web tool that can be accessed by anyone. This web tool aids in creating stories, poems, and picture books. Students would begin by choosing the artwork they wanted to use. There are thousands of pieces and artists to chose from. The student would then choose if they were writing a chapter book, picture book, or poem. After selectin they will be taken to the create page. Here the students can add the art, write the stories on each page, and even create a cover. Story Bird hosts and publishes the stories online, but they also offer a printing service. That would be a neat way for parents to have keepsakes of their childrens work.
