Foundations of Government

5.2.1 Summarize the principles and purposes of government as stated in the Preamble to the United States Constitution.

5.2.7 Identify the three branches of the United States government and explain the functions of each.

 

Nation States is a website where the students can create their own nation, or states, by the questions they answer. The website is free and allows the user to name their own nation, decide an animal, money and logo. This would be great for a 5th grade classroom, history/ social studies.

 

Multiple Intelligence would fit well this tool for students who are logical-mathematical because you are creating your on government and nation which requires the student to be able to solve problems and figure out the economy.
